Postdoctoral Position on Advanced Radial MRI

We currently have a Postdoctoral Fellow position to work on Advanced Radial MRI.

       The candidate will be working with Dr. Li Feng to develop GRASP-based new MRI techniques for fast, sparsity-based, motion-resolved imaging applications. We are also actively exploring the use of deep learning techniques for improving radial MRI and quantitative MRI.

        If you are interested in radial MRI (e.g., stack-of-stars and 3D koosh-ball radial imaging), free-breathing MRI and and their translation to new clinical applications, this will be an excellent opportunity to conduct productive and innovative research in this area and to quickly gain hands-on skills in radial image reconstruction, pulse sequence programing, and motion management.

        The candidate is expected to have a PhD degree in a related field. Prior experience in fast MRI, image reconstruction or quantitative imaging would be a plus, but not required.

Facilities: Our research institute ( has 3 Siemens MRI scanners dedicated to research (a 3T Skyra scanner, a Biograph mMR PET/MRI scanner, and a 7T scanner), along with other clinical MRI scanners within the Department of Radiology.

Location: The main campus of the Mount Sinai Health System is located in the upper east side of the New York City and is adjacent to the Central Park. Subsidized housing close to the Mount Sinai campus is available to Postdoctoral or Research Fellows.
